At the meeting on Friday 30/06/97, the board of directors together with some of the executives of the covered companies met with the Honorable Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade Mr. Shariatmadari.

The meeting was attended by the Honorable Deputy Minister, Mr. Saleh Nia, and the Honorable Deputy Director of Inspection and Complaints, and Mr. Mehdi Pour, the Director General of Health Product Monitoring and Medical Devices. Mr Khoshgood generally referred to the problems of the cellulose industry, particularly in terms of market and prices, as well as referrals to corporate support staff, which had caused employers dissatisfaction. The Honorable Minister, Mr. Shariatmadari, noted in a lengthy speech that the pricing should be carried out by the Association in accordance with the guidelines of the Support Organization and that the bidding prices of the Association be reported to the Support Organization.
